Anthony Klein
Anthony has over 28 years of experience as a corporate tax specialist. Before founding Tooronga Advisory Group in July 2021, he built his career as a Partner at PwC. He held several senior roles during his long tenure at PwC, including as the leader of the firm’s Corporate Tax team in Melbourne, International Tax Leader for the Asia Pacific region, and the leader of PwC’s Private Clients Tax team in Melbourne.
Anthony specialises in providing tax advisory, international tax, structuring and M&A tax services to businesses across many industries, working with clients across private companies of varying sizes to large multinational corporations. He has broad experience across various sectors and specialises within the technology sector.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Melbourne, and a Masters of Law from Monash University. He is a Chartered Tax Adviser, Registered Tax Agent and an affiliate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Anthony was appointed by former Federal Treasurer, Josh Frydenberg, for a three-year term to the Board of Taxation to contribute a business and broader community perspective for improving the design of Australia’s taxation laws and their operation.
